Check-Watt went online as a comparison portal in 2024, which is also when the collaboration with JUNGMUT began. The goal was to set up social media channels to lay a solid foundation for the company’s digital presence and thus position Check-Watt as an alternative to other comparison portals, with a particular focus on energy efficiency.
With Check-Watt, users can filter electrical appliances by purchase and consumption costs to find the best device for their needs.
The underlying goal is, of course, to reduce the carbon footprint by using more energy-efficient appliances and thus do something good for our planet.
The collaboration began in October 2024 with a joint workshop. The focus was on developing a customized customer value journey.
Building on this, relevant personas were defined, suitable platforms were selected, and a targeted content approach was developed—all in line with the needs and expectations of the target group.
The visual concept was consistently aligned with the existing web design—including the use of established colors, fonts, shapes, and design elements. Design components such as the hexagon and light bulb from the logo were used, supplemented by new, individual design elements.
Web icons were also adapted to enable a flexible and varied appearance on social media.
The starting signal was given in November 2024, when the first channels and posts went online. JUNGMUT took on the entire editorial planning, text and design development, and community management.
The content was aimed at a target group aged 30 and above – people with a keen awareness of sustainability, but also those who are focused on long-term efficiency and low costs. The content focused on providing informative yet easy-to-understand information that guides the community and imparts knowledge about energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental awareness.
The communication centered on the message: “Save money and do something good for the environment!”
This core message combines economic sense with ecological responsibility. The vision behind it: to create awareness of the sustainable use of resources – without compromising on the choice of the right product.
If that hasn’t convinced you yet, just take a look at the entire channel.
