With “Q”, Q Development AG has developed a product that uses blockchain to provide a ledger or general ledger for the crypto sector. “Q combines the advantages of a public, open and decentralized ledger with the transparency of enforceable private contracts.”
Our collaboration with Q.org aimed to communicate the company’s mission and vision at the ETH CC trade fair in Paris through engaging designs and illustrations that capture both the Parisian flair and the spirit of the future. We developed a comprehensive set of creative elements, including a key visual, t-shirt designs, roll-ups and social media banners.
Our journey began with intensive research into Parisian places as recognizable symbols of creativity and technology. Instead of common stereotypes such as the Eiffel Tower, we chose the Sacré-Cœur as the central motif due to its impressive architecture and timeless beauty. Parisian cafés represented the authentic lifestyle and the link to the trade fair symbolized the place where ideas are born.
With these diverse ideas in mind, we started to gather photo inspiration and create a rough draft in the form of a photo collage. Step by step, we transformed this collage into an illustration.
We experimented with different versions of Parisian cafés and their arrangement to find the optimal harmony. This illustration was complemented by futuristic skyscrapers in the background, visualizing the unstoppable progress of the city.
The T-shirt should be much more than just an advertising medium; it should function as a modern fashion piece that people like to wear. When designing the T-shirt, the central idea was to use the Parisian Venus sculpture from the Louvre as the main motif. JUNGMUT illustrated the sculpture in the style of the key visual, using a subtle glitch effect to give this classic Parisian work of art a futuristic touch. The green circle in the background, through which Venus bursts out at the bottom, creates a visual association with the letter “Q”. The design of the lettering was inspired by current fashion trends and is intended to give the aesthetics of the T-shirt a modern and appealing look.
