With project work at eye level, SWISSAID is committed to improving the living conditions and future prospects of smallholder families, women and children in the Global South. Concrete action on the ground and political commitment in Switzerland: as an expert in agroecology and gender equality and with a keen eye on the commodities trade, the organization works sincerely for sustainable development.
SWISSAID launches a major school campaign once a year: the badge sale. Schoolchildren go from house to house and collect donations for SWISSAID projects. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was not possible in 2020 and 2021.
In collaboration with JUNGMUT, the SWISSAID team has developed a platform that continues and expands the idea of selling badges in a digital environment. On this fundraising platform, school classes can easily create fundraising campaigns, collect donations digitally and compete with other classes. Automatically generated social media assets are available to classes to match their campaign, making it easier to simplify fundraising activities.
In addition to school campaigns, the platform can also be used for SWISSAID fundraising campaigns and opened up to a broad target group for peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. A lasting success.

The team of 40 people works together with local people on various projects and is supported by various partner organizations. SWISSAID sees itself as an expert in the fields of agroecology and gender equality.
In the further course of this collaboration, JUNGMUT developed the SWISSAID donation store. The designers and developers worked out the user experience (UX), created the user interface (UI) designs and developed the site in WordPress.
The focus was on structuring the store content and targeted navigation through the pages to enable a positive shopping experience. This experience is achieved through a clear menu, a clearly structured homepage and a step-by-step explanation of the purchasing process. In addition, the appealing design, the presentation of the products and the comprehensive product descriptions convey a feeling of seriousness and trust.
